...in the DIY Wedding Crafts Contest with Martha Stewart & Etsy. I made the pieces below for real weddings. remember 100 Layer Cake hosted a contest to helped me find the brides.

well now it's time to vote. they haven't made it easy though. there are over 3,000 entries and you can only see 8 entries per page, with no means to search out contestants. it seems like only the first few easily accessible pages will be seen/ voted on. on top of that you must log in to cast a vote. so i need your help.

...done! the pieces from the Miniature Rhino & 100 Layer Cake giveaway for the winners Lucy and Emily. i am pleased with the outcome and am again so grateful to 100 Layer Cake and all who entered. now off to enter the etsy/marth stewart contest with these handmade wedding pieces, which will be part of two real life weddings - i'm so proud of that fact. wish me luck!

the oh so kind ladies at 100 Layer Cake and i have teamed up for a little giveaway. we want to join creative forces with you! really. i wanted to enter the Martha Stewart + Etsy handmade wedding details contest with one of my custom heart samplers that would be used in an actual real life wedding. so 100 layer cake is helping me find all you brides to be that would like to use a little embroidered heart in their weddings.

lots of color....

i'm loving 100 Layer Cake's inspiration color boards. i so needed these when i was struggling to make my color schemes for my custom hearts (as confessed in my post below this one). these are so good- perfect for not just wedding planning, which 100 Layer Cake specializes in, but for graphic design, color schemes for the home, outfits even. their blog is filled with great images and ideas, but these really got me excited for my next round of color scheming....
