The rain in Brooklyn is bringing me back to Squam Lake. After the rain cleared in New Hampshire the greenery was so intense it almost looked neon.
We found some time to explore the woods, walking over thick layers of mulch, poking about taking pictures of moss covered trees, strange fungi and lichen. We loved it! And our reward for an enjoyable hike? The most beautiful view overlooking of the lake...
