a few of my favorites...

...from the Postcards From the Edge show a benefit for Visual Aids...there were so so many postcards and even more people at the preview party. it was so hard to take pictures or there would be more here to share... there were quite a few kitties...

i believe this last one is by ann hamilton, one of my favorite artists..

its tonight...

Postcards From the Edge... I can't believe how many amazing artists donate to this show! The list is intense and includes some of my art boyfriends and girlfriends...Cindy Sherman, Kara Walker, Jeff Koons, Catherine Opie, Ann Hamilton, Kiki Smith, Carrie Mae Weems, Adam Fuss, Vito Acconci, John Baldessari, Louise Lawler, Marcel Dzama, Barry McGee, and more. I have big crushes on them! so it will be nice to see all the works tonight. I like how they set up the show though. You are not informed who made which pieces and all postcards are $75. My entry looks like this.

so you send it on a postcard...

this is my entry for Postcards From the Edge, A Benefit for Visual AIDS. This is something my father recently said to me. It struck me hard and felt like an admission of the loss we both feel for how life was when I was a child.
Jeremy tried to hold Bug last night for a photo and he does not like to be held....i want to go to this, probable on Sunday, and you should too if you're in the new york area...
