Hello moon, hello stars. Something new to share....

Introducing a new MR logo! Hello moon, hello stars. 

I never intended to run a small creative business. I thought I'd make a few things here and there, things that I was already making for friends and family, and share them on Etsy. Somehow, five years later, I'm running my shop full-time, teaching workshops and classes, and wrote a book (What the heck?! It still blows me away). Lucky, grateful me! 

All the while I've never had a proper logo. I've wanted one, but just didn't know what to do. I turned to one of my favorite blogger/designers for help, Kate Miss.  She gave me a bunch of design ideas, and after rounds of tough decisions and tweaks, I have my own MR moon. Thanks Kate! 

Here are just some of the many logos Kate designed. I had a really hard time deciding between them. I'm the girl who takes 30 minutes (if I'm honest, maybe more) just standing in the drugstore isle trying to decide which $3 nail polish to buy. Tortured decision making when you're picking out the face of your beloved little business. 

I chose him because it was a little less specific, and seemed to capture the kind of wonder I'd like the things I make to evoke. I'm very happy with my moon and can't wait to make this lil' guy into a stamp and stickers. Hope you like him too....
