happy april fools today everyone!
i always remember this day, because it's my grandparents wedding anniversary. kinda a strange day to get hitched. it's also a beautiful, sunny day here in brooklyn. i thought i'd kick off spring with a giveaway for TWO! new items in my shop, my Matchbook Stationery and my DIY Message In a Bottle Kit. So there will be two winners.
one winner gets a set of two Matchbook Letters. these are bits and pieces of my favorite papers sewn to flat olive and kraft flats. they come with a matching envelope. remember i shared i was working on something new?
second winner gets a DIY Message In a Bottle Kit, which is a vial with a charm of your choosing, two sheets of nice creme paper and a little cotton bag to gift your letter.
did a great big spring update in the shop listing new items, like vintage stamps, and lots of old favorites, like stars!
just leave a comment to enter. tell me what your most excited about for spring.... i love exploring brooklyn on long bike rides! can't wait for some adventures.
if you don't have a blogger profile please leave me your email, so i can get in touch with you if you are a winnah.

Spring is the time where I can leave my windows open, let kittycat lay happily in the sunspots, and sniff his good-smelling sunny head when he allows. :-) I also look forward to walks through Cooperstown, tempting antique bookstores, and delicious breezes. I love the warm air on my neck.
ReplyDeletethe rose bloom here and some extra outside time.

My grandfather died, ages ago, on March 21st. And my grandmother passed away on April 1st. There must be some kind of message ?

I love your wares! I've actually just written a post about handkerchiefs, I found yours on Etsy, loved them, followed to your blog, and now I am here! Wonderful, how the internet works.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to just being able to go wandering about the city without feeling as if I might die of being cold! I'm especially excited to visit Greenwood Cemetery, and, in June, rent a bike at Governor's Island!

Just found your blog and LOVE IT! your taste, your photos and your links to other interesting things. I'm living the weirdest year with 3 summers and a couple of autumns (going from Northern Hemisphere to South and back to North and back to South within 12 months), so it is like an eternal spring-summer-autumn filled with days outdoors. My fav thing, having breakfasts outdoors, best way to star the day!
ReplyDeletethis might already be closed but i just wanted to post a spring idea anyway and because i'm a big fan of yours jessica, i thought i would have me a try and this amazing giveaway.
ReplyDeletespring love really does feel in the air! reading outside with my beloved is my favorite thing to do.
