i always remember this day, because it's my grandparents wedding anniversary. kinda a strange day to get hitched. it's also a beautiful, sunny day here in brooklyn. i thought i'd kick off spring with a giveaway for TWO! new items in my shop, my Matchbook Stationery and my DIY Message In a Bottle Kit. Spring is the time where I can leave my windows open, let kittycat lay happily in the sunspots, and sniff his good-smelling sunny head when he allows. :-) I also look forward to walks through Cooperstown, tempting antique bookstores, and delicious breezes. I love the warm air on my neck.

My grandfather died, ages ago, on March 21st. And my grandmother passed away on April 1st. There must be some kind of message ?

Just found your blog and LOVE IT! your taste, your photos and your links to other interesting things. I'm living the weirdest year with 3 summers and a couple of autumns (going from Northern Hemisphere to South and back to North and back to South within 12 months), so it is like an eternal spring-summer-autumn filled with days outdoors. My fav thing, having breakfasts outdoors, best way to star the day!
