lost in a sea...

...of embroidery. thread and linen abound and am working, working, working on these hearts, stars and trees. here are but a few of the recent pieces i've completed....this one is kitty names. oh, how that kills me. somewhere there is a little cat named tater who loves a little cat named tottie. sweetness.

    But the most amazing is the one with the stars !
    It reminds me of my "embroidery style" !!!

    I'm working on stitched paper notecards and other handcrafted paper goodies to add to my if-I-can-ever-get-them-listed Etsy shop. Wish me luck! I want to do this so badly and artists like you inspire me to work on it whenever I can between life's demands.

    I am busy juggling my degree and my(way of relaxing) making things.. and trying not to feel sick when I think that I ought to be writing my dissertation, too... xx

    Louise... damn an etsy shop and a dissertation! you know i started to embroider while doing my masters degree and it became a way to zone out other things and concentrate on a simple task... thank you!!
