I'm so very excited to invite you to the launch party for Stitched Gifts at Purl Soho!

The original embroideries will be shown, fancy drinks will be severed, I'll demo some sweet embroidery skills, sign some books, answer any questions you may have, and everyone who makes a purchase during the event will receive a free holiday embroidery kit I made just for the event featuring a project from, you guessed it, Stitched Gifts. I'm over the moon to have the event at Purl. I remember attending the book launch for Penguin Threads first set of books featuring the amazing stitch work of Jillian Tamaki. This whole book process has felt so surreal to me. It's about to get real real with a book launch party!

New Class at Purl Soho

Embroidery Basics - Custom Monogram


So excited about my new class at Purl Soho. I really wanted to do a project based class, where you can leave with a finished piece. We'll be making these insanely cute customizable embroidery pieces. So happy to see the first set of Zodiac Embroidery Kits at Purl Soho! They don't mess around- best craft store in NY for sewing/knitting/and fancy beautiful fabrics.  And the Purl Bee, their blog, has a such a tight aesthetic, awesome tutorials, and challenging projects.

teaching at Purl!

I'm beyond thrilled to be teaching embroidery classes at Purl Soho!! When I moved to NY  I remember visiting the old shops, and being so smitten. It felt very NY and inspiring. I could spend hours creepin about. 

The first session of this class is tomorrow and we'll be learning lots of stitches to create a little embroidery sampler. The last I heard there was only one seat left in the class, so contact Purl to try and snag that spot!!
