vannessa's wedding....

my friends vanessa and mike had a beautiful wedding last month that my boo officiated. it was so special for j to be part of this important day for our friends, and i was like a stage mom, "practice again! louder! smile, smile, wider. do it again..." not that bad, but i was so nervous for him and he did great! i did his hair all pretty and nice and check out that new duchess suit, and glowy beard.

look at all the pretty green, white and vintage details....
she collected all these vintage pins and i helped her make it into a bouquet. it's so pretty!

help MR and vote...

...in the DIY Wedding Crafts Contest with Martha Stewart & Etsy. I made the pieces below for real weddings. remember 100 Layer Cake hosted a contest to helped me find the brides.
well now it's time to vote. they haven't made it easy though. there are over 3,000 entries and you can only see 8 entries per page, with no means to search out contestants. it seems like only the first few easily accessible pages will be seen/ voted on. on top of that you must log in to cast a vote. so i need your help.

if you like the pieces and feel so inclined i would greatly appreciate your support...Please vote for the my Custom Heart here or the Custom Tree Stump here...thanks!!!! you can see all 3,000 or so the entries here.

making noise....

...on the harmonica makes my cat, the bug, happy. he'll nuzzle and purr you...jeremy and bug are good company, especially while i was sick. still am a bit,
but feeling much better. i've been living off pudding cups and soup and can't
wait to be eating food food. i'm so behind in etsy work now though it makes

i like the way it came out and am excited to be part of someone's
wedding, even on this small scale. i have a friend planning a wedding
now and I see how much thought goes into every detail. so this project
