It's the rocks in the region (Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland). Whenever I am lucky enough to be near a rock outcrop, I press my face to the rock and breathe deeply. Ahhh...such wonderful memories!

And my second favorite scent is the scent of very old houses. The houses in Riquewihr, France literally *exhale* the centuries. I love that clean smell after a bath that only children 3 and under seem to have. The lotion is great and definitely adds to the wonderful smell of the child, but there just is something so sweet and precious about the smell of small children and babies. I have often found myself inhaling the smell from my boys (when they were younger) pajamas after they changed for the day. It's a smell that makes me smile. I miss it, but sometimes I still catch a whiff of it from someone else's child when they walk by and I can't help but smile.

Melissa
ellis.melissa@sbcglobal.netAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4077476528977993605.post-12628731478615425282012-07-13T13:57:43.566-04:002012-07-13T13:57:43.566-04:00Hi there!
